For SEANZ-certified installers
Qualified commercial solar jobs, without the cost of winning them
Involve Energy is the design, financing and project-management layer for commercial and agricultural solar in the South Island. We are not an installer, and we do not compete with you. We win and qualify the customer, model the system on their own bills, arrange the financing, and hand you a specified, funded job ready to install.
What we do
- Win and qualify the customer through targeted marketing and instant lead response.
- Model the system independently on the customer's own power bills.
- Arrange the financing stack: Investment Boost plus green and rural lending.
- Present the costed proposal and hold the customer relationship.
What you do
- Confirm the design against site conditions on a visit.
- Supply and install to SEANZ standards, with electrical certification.
- Handle the lines-company connection and commissioning.
- Stand behind your workmanship with a warranty.
What you get
- Pre-qualified, pre-designed, pre-financed jobs, not tyre-kickers.
- Zero customer-acquisition cost and no design or proposal work.
- Larger average job size than residential, in your own region.
- A predictable pipeline you can plan crew capacity around.
What we ask
- Current SEANZ membership and the registrations to certify commercial installs.
- Capacity to deliver in your region within a reasonable programme.
- Competitive, transparent sub-contract or referral pricing.
- Public liability and professional indemnity cover, and a workmanship warranty.
How the commercials work
Sub-contract install pricing on our specified systems, or an agreed referral fee where you hold the install contract directly. We agree the model and the margin up front, in writing, per region. We hold the acquisition, proposal and monitoring relationship; you hold the workmanship relationship. No exclusivity to start, and a pilot job is the real test before either side commits to more.
We are lining up two or three install partners per beachhead region, Central Otago, Canterbury and Marlborough, before scaling marketing, so there is always a crew ready when a job closes. We are straight about volume: it builds as the lead engine proves out, and we would rather under-promise and let the work speak.
